A postdoctoral position is available immediately to participate in an exciting project of designing T Cell Receptors (TCR) with enhanced binding affinities to their ligands. The project entails expressing TCR mutants in E. Coli, refolding the proteins from inclusion bodies, purifying the refolded proteins using FPLC, and measuring their binding affinities using Surface Plasmon Resonance ( http://www.whitaker.org/abstracts/apr01/weng.html ).
We welcome highly motivated, recent Ph.D. with strong background in molecular biology and protein chemistry and an interest in protein engineering.
